Greetings friends, family, and more!!! This is Minhee, your beloved host and blogger for the next 20 days or so. Thanks for tuning in!
Before rambling about anything, I want to give you some context about my trip to better understand what the heck this blog is and what I am writing about, particularly if news of ~Minhee's travels~ is all new to you. WHO: Yo! Again, this is Minhee, a rising junior in packaging in college who is traveling to France (yayyy). I will be solo traveling for a little, and then meeting up with 5 fellow packaging students and many ESEPAC students (continue reading to better understand) to take classes together. WHAT: I have the ~spectacular~ opportunity to travel to France for a 2-week study abroad at ESEPAC, a French packaging school in the countryside (random indeed). While planning the trip, my dad and I decided that some solo time in Paris would be pretty cool, so we booked my flight a little earlier. I will also be spending some time in Lyon before classes start with a fellow student, hosted by an ESEPAC student. As for what I will be doing and learning at ESEPAC... well, I suppose we'll both find out very soon. Hehe. WHERE: I am headed to France! Like mentioned, I will be in Paris for a couple of days, in Lyon for a weekend, and then in Saint-Germain-Laprade at ESEPAC . *amazing* WHEN: I am departing tomorrow night and arriving in Paris around 12:20pm their time on May 21st. I shall be in Paris from May 21 - 24, in Lyon from May 25 - 26, and at ESEPAC from May 27 - June 8. WHY: Europe (and other places in the world) has always really intrigued me. I have never been and always wanted to. I was also strongly encouraged to study abroad going into college. Some relatives had done it and really loved it. Although my stay isn't for a semester or a year, I think it is definitely enough time to teach me a lot. But also, when will I ever get the chance to attend a French packaging school again? Very niche. HOW: How did this trip come about? By the grace of God and the packaging department at my college. How am I getting around? A lot of walking, metro, and my phone. How do I feel? Hypeddddddddd! A lot of text - here's a fun rendition of me, a minmoji, if you will. :^)
