This is for my frisbee folk - I guess a handsome dude about to catch a disc (hopefully................................ that'd be embarrassing) is enticing enough for French men to enter this store. Well it kind of worked - it obviously caught my eye. #frisbeeinfrance #francebee #frisparis #hashtagresurgence I also went to a concert last night to see The Marías (thanks Pauline). You can look them up if you want, their music is totally cool; however, to a lot of you, that either means 1) it's totally not cool or 2) it's totally opium den hippie music (thanks mom). My favorite songs are "I Don't Know You," "Cariño," "Basta Ya," and "Over the Moon," but they're honestly all great. It was also pretty fun to be amongst the French hipster young adult crowd. I liked everyone's outfits :^) Peep another post later tonight about DAY 2! I'm about to grab some dinner. Yeet!!!

3:27PM GMT: I am here in Paris, alive and well! Will make more updates and review the day laterrrrrrrr. Au revoir! 11:50PM GMT: I AM BACK at my hostel and am tired, but not tired enough to not recount some cool things that happened today. I'm still in disbelief that I am in ~Paris~ right now. Even though I've only got a tiny glimpse of it so far, I really understand why Paris is such a popular and loved travel spot. HOSTEL: Convenient, clean, cozy. I have already found the hostel experience to be quite unique and fun. The hostel I am at is located near a major station, so getting from the airport to here was pretty smooth. The hostel staff is very welcoming and quick to give tips about what to do in the area and such. A lot of the gals in my (all-female) room are from the States and in general it's easy to find common ground with my hostelmates (roommates? Francemates?) because we are all travelers in a foreign place. I was blessedish with a top bunk - climbing up the ladder all the time is kind of annoying, but it's nice to hang stuff off of. Otherwise, I am very comfortable here.
