Dedicated to my cousin, Johnny, who I miss. Sorry kid, I haven't watched enough anime to keep up with you.

Today we said peaaaaaaaace to Seaaaaaaaaaatle. But before that, my family revisited that beach park only a couple of us went too. We scooped up donuts beforehand and headed over. The day was bright and the water was swooshing. Here are a series of pictures of my mom and 2 of her 3 sisters. They're so darn cute. Some more pretty pics of the day. In the 2nd picture, I am sporting my airplane outfit, which was a somewhat ratty band t-shirt (that literally everyone stares at and attempts to replicate, thinking it's sign language, only for me to tell them that it's purely aesthetic and representative of a band I like) and frisbee pants.

!!! We did a ton of these things today... might I say we hopped around Seattle... (*crickets*) Shout out to my poppity (aka my dad) for being gracious and driving around our terribly uncomfortable minivan. In honor of his awesome efforts, here are pictures of us from today. Let's dig in! 10:26AM PDT: We made it to a doughnut shop in downtown Seattle! My cousin has a doughnut blog that showcases dope realistic drawings of a doughnut and an attached story. It's kind of like Humans of New York, but more like Doughnuts of America. Anyway, she graciously purchased me a raspberry glazed chocolate doughnut.
*Tangential: I spelled doughnut as donut and corrected myself over and over again because I'm so used to Dunkin Donuts but that's INCORRECT!!! #minheerunsondunkin **Tangential: The store was packed with people on their way to Seattle PrideFest! I surmised they were headed there from the rainbow color scheme, in both attire and flag form! Woop woop! We went to the mountains today, and it was pretty darn beautiful. My family likes hiking and nature, so we headed to Mt. Rainier for most of the day. Seattle has blessed us with great weather so far, so we enjoyed the sun. We headed to Paradise, a popular area of the park. I am really used to driving to a parking lot at a nearby park in the East Coast and walking along 1 of the 5 trails offered. It's so weird to me that once you arrive at a park, you're not really there, because you need to drive an extra 30-60 minutes to get to hikeable or popular areas. It's pretty amazing how gigantic parks are here. I'm sure the East Coast has beautiful areas too, but I've never been to anything like this. It was also cool to see lush green trees and lil wildflowers on one side and slippery snow and gravel on the other. A literal, stark color difference. Also enjoy the last picture of my mom and dad - little did you know that they were arguing about who was leaning on who, stop huting my back, and then I told them to smile. #fabrication
