Wowie! It's your 3rd student spotlight: ~Easily excitable Emily.~ Emily is definitely the best dancer of the group, able to make dance moves out of anything while flexing on us with her ability to move freely and comfortably. Emily also enjoys taking a whole bed spot, sprawling her body out has much as possible to make herself comfortable. According to our Myers-Briggs, we are actually quite opposite, but we get along just fine. I met Emily while playing against her high school team in ultimate frisbee. I have played against and with her throughout high school and college ultimate frisbee since. I like that she laughs at my jokes and mannerisms. Drip or drown? Heavy drip. Maybe not waterfall, but perhaps drip on a wind sill on a rainy day. Bonsoir! Today was a fun and relaxing day. We all woke up around 11AM or so to compensate for missed sleep this past week. I had done much research on Reddit for what to do and eat in Nice and hashed out a nice plan. Here are some fun pictures during our walk! Nice has some awesome colors as well as fun structures for children. #respect According to Reddit, socca is a popular dish in Nice. It is essentially chickpea crepes and it suits a savory palate. We headed to a popular corner shop and scooped some socca as well as other random dishes. We explored downtown Nice a bit and shopped for souvenirs. After doing that, we headed to Castle Hill to picnic and enjoy each other's company. Castle Hill was amazing! Getting up was a little difficult, as it required many stairs, but oh well (dommage). At the top, we laid a blanket in the shade and enjoyed our takeaway food as well as some drinks. After spilling some tea and filling up on food, we climbed to a higher spot and saw a beautiful view of Nice. We then trekked down a couple of stairs to find a large waterfall. The weather was beautiful and I loved bathing in the sun. We relaxed at Castle Hill for a couple of hours before heading back to our AirBNB. The sun was quite glorious and we spent some time sunbathing and enjoying the view. We returned to our home a little exhausted. We decided to chill out and drink wine and eat cheese before heading out for dinner. Above, you can see our tiny snack as well as #screenagers in action. Dave, Azim, and I bought 3 cheeses to taste and decided to anonymously distribute them to our friends. Dave's choose was voted the best. Around 9PM, we headed to Le Frog! We shared frog legs and escargot amongst the 6 of us before splitting dishes. Emily and I enjoyed half a lobster and shrimp risotto. They were both delicious and I was glad to experience seafood in Nice. I had no complaints!
Afterwards, my pals and I spent some fun times together. By the end of the night, Azim broke his butt, Dave chilled, Emily danced too much, Sophia sang "Television" wildly, Ty sounded like Batman, and I macked. See you tomorrow!
