Only one more day of class - wow! As they say, time flies when you're having fun. I am both excited and sad to leave in a few days. My time in France has been truly amazing and I have met some truly great people. However, traveling is extremely exhausting and I am looking forward to seeing my family and friends at home. First thing in the morn, my group was split in half and participated in student presentations. The ESEPAC students presented the packaging development processes in their respective companies. It was fascinating to learn about each company and each student's work. Similar to the packaging students at my school, ESEPAC students dabbled in cosmetics, food, water taps, etc. We then presented a little about ourselves and the work we have done at school. Afterwards, we worked more on the project I mentioned before. All 6 of us are coming closer to a final prototype which is cool! I love how ESEPAC has an open space with machines and equipment for students to use. It seems like everyone is trained in how to use them. No supervision is required and you are free to work upon anything you would like. I will post pictures of my final design as tomorrow is our last day to work on it. Last week, we all made business cards and a business card holder to utilize Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, programs we had just learned. Today I finally printed out my holder and voila! Behold my beautiful and basic business cards. I have always been one for a minimalistic style. See if you can find my initials hidden in the sailboat!!! Lunch time featuring a stuffed tomato and rice! The stuffed meat inside the tomato was a plus. My friends and I have kind of made it a (good) habit to buy snacks and share them with everyone. It's cool to have a taste of French snacks that may be so normal to them, but really different to us (but to be honest, their snacks taste kinda the same, just more cheesy). Fast forward to the end of the school day! The ESEPAC students threw us a fun barbecue on school grounds. It was full of baguettes, sausages, chicken, games, and people. We literally had a mountain of bauguettes and they were reaaaaaaaaal fluffy. I played a game called Dutch Skittles (who knew) and enjoyed meat and bread per usual.
My time here is almost out! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. No problem though, all good things come to an end, yes? I hope tomorrow's a fun day!
